The Fannindel FFA has been hard at work this summer! Pictured here is Senior Georgia Goudeau with her cow calf pair along with Junior Riahana Shepherd helping her in the show ring at the Texas State Charolais Show. FFA members have not just been putting in hours at the barn to get ready for a new season, but have continued to compete and represent Fannindel in the best way!

Senior Georgia Goudeau finished her Fannindel show career by attending the Texas State Charolais Show where she was a Senior Showmanship Finalist, Division Champion, and Class Champion Bull. She also traveled to Kansas to compete at the Junior National Charolais Show where she received Senior Showmanship Finalist, Top 5 Pair Class, and an AIJCA Scholarship. Georgia ended her summer by finding out she has been awarded the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Hildebrand Rural Scholars 4-Year Program Scholarship worth $20,000. She will use the scholarship money to continue her education at Texas Tech University. We couldn't be more proud of Georgia Goudeau and wish her the best of luck at Texas Tech!
