The Flash Flood Watch continues for * Portions of north central Texas and northeast Texas, including the following areas, in north central Texas, Bell, Bosque, Collin, Comanche, Cooke, Coryell, Dallas, Denton, Eastland, Ellis, Erath, Fannin, Grayson, Hamilton, Hill, Hood, Hunt, Jack, Johnson, Lampasas, McLennan, Mills, Montague, Palo Pinto, Parker, Rockwall, Somervell, Stephens, Tarrant, Wise, and Young. In northeast Texas, Delta, Hopkins, and Lamar. * Through Saturday afternoon * Widespread showers and thunderstorms will continue overnight and into Saturday. The heaviest rainfall is expected during the overnight hours. * Rainfall totals of 3 to 6 inches will be possible especially near and northwest of Highway 377. Isolated rainfall amounts of close to 8 inches will also be possible, especially across the Big Country and western North Texas.
